Abstract:
the universal novel represents a bridge between cultures, reflecting the human experience with its contradictions, as in the works of Marquis and Murakami, which transforms the local into the cosmic. According to Edward said, the novel became an instrument of resistance to cultural domination. Despite the challenges of artificial intelligence and rapid digital content, the novel remains an existential act that reshapes the self in the face of chaos. The experience of Haruki Murakami, who merges realism with fantasy, stands out as a model of literature that expresses the age of uncertainty, asserting that the need for narrative will continue as long as there are unanswered human questions.
