Abstract:
Rare breast tumors constitute a heterogeneous group of neoplasms that represent less than 1% of all breast malignancies. These include phyllodes tumors, angiosarcomas, metaplastic carcinomas, adenomyoepitheliomas, and primary lymphomas of the breast. Due to their low incidence, these tumors pose significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, often mimicking more common breast pathologies. This review presents updated evidence on epidemiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and treatment of rare breast tumors, advocating for multidisciplinary, individualized management.
