Abstract:
Technogenic waters accumulated in mining reservoirs, such as the "Koksuv" basin, are often enriched with heavy metals, sulfates, hardness-inducing ions, and other harmful compounds, posing serious environmental and technological challenges. The treatment of such waters using lime is considered one of the most effective and economically feasible methods, as it facilitates the precipitation of contaminants in the form of insoluble hydroxides and salts. However, the efficiency of this process strongly depends on thermodynamic factors, which determine the stability and spontaneity of chemical reactions under varying conditions.
