Abstract:
The study employed purposive sampling to enhance the mathematics skills of 71 Grade 7 students at Wenceslao Trinidad Memorial National High School during the 2024-2025 school year, with a focus on addition of integers. Using a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach, data was collected through an Individualized Approach where students used the X+Fun Tool to practice and complete assessments at their own pace. Pre- and post-tests were administered to measure the tool's effectiveness, revealing a significant improvement in scores, with the average increasing from 47.20% in the pretest to 92.40% in the post-test-a 45.20% gain. Statistical tools, including Kuder Richardson 20, t-tests, and Cronbach's alpha, were used to analyze the data. The study concluded that the Project Games tool effectively improved mathematics proficiency, with a significant increase in post-test scores confirming its potential as an intervention material. Students' perceptions of the tool were overwhelmingly positive, further supporting its effectiveness in enhancing both learning and engagement.
