Abstract:
This paper examines the use of technology and internal organizational conditions that affect the implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) systems in the banking industry. Through the analysis of the survey results of 120 employees in Jordan Arab Bank using SPSS, it is found that technology organisation (TO) variables have a strong, or positive impact on the adoption of BI. The findings imply that decision-makers and managers ought to use BI systems to redefine tasks, clarify roles, and make work processes smoother- hence improving organizational responsiveness and overall performance. Yet, we argue that more research needs to be conducted, especially in the context of developing countries, to fully understand how banking sectors can successfully implement and utilize business intelligence and analytics.
