Abstract:
This study evaluated tourist behavior and satisfaction at the Subic Bay Triathlon events as a basis for sports tourism growth. Using a descriptive-correlational research design, data were gathered from athletes and spectators through a structured survey questionnaire. The study examined tourists' demographic profile, travel behavior, and level of satisfaction with the event and destination services. Findings indicated that tourists demonstrated positive travel behavior and a high level of satisfaction with the triathlon experience. A significant relationship was found between tourist behavior and satisfaction, highlighting the role of well-organized sports events in enhancing tourism development. The results provide valuable insights for tourism authorities, event organizers, and stakeholders in strengthening sports tourism initiatives in Subic Bay.
