Abstract:
This literature review explores the intricate relationships between digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), business intelligence (BI), and human resource management (HRM) practices, particularly within the context of emerging economies. By synthesizing a wide array of recent scholarly works, we identify and analyze key themes such as talent retention, knowledge sharing, decision-making, organizational learning, sustainability, employee commitment, and innovation. The review elucidates how the strategic integration of digital technologies, AI applications, and BI capabilities within HRM can foster dynamic capabilities and enhance employee outcomes. We move beyond simple descriptions of technology adoption to provide a deep, critical analysis of the theoretical underpinnings and practical implications of this digital nexus. The paper identifies critical research gaps and outlines future research directions, offering a robust foundation for academics and practitioners seeking to understand and leverage the transformative power of digital technologies in the realm of human capital management.
