Abstract:
The rapid growth of digital data has transformed the role of analytics in modern organizations. Traditional data analysis methods, which relied heavily on statistical techniques and manual intervention, are increasingly being supplemented or replaced by Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based approaches. AI technologies such as Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), deep learning, and intelligent automation have significantly enhanced the ability of organizations to process, analyse, and interpret large volumes of structured and unstructured data. This study examines the evolution of data analytics from conventional statistical analysis to AI-driven intelligent analytics and evaluates its impact across various industries, including retail, telecommunications, finance, and consumer goods. The paper further discusses the integration of AI with widely used analytics tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Excel. In addition, challenges associated with AI adoption, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, transparency, and ethical concerns, are critically analysed. The findings indicate that AI-enabled analytics improves decision-making, predictive accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer experience while creating new opportunities for innovation and business growth.
