Abstract:
Entropy is a parameter known as measurement for computing the degree of randomness or uncertainty in image information, work on the distribution of pixel intensity values. Greater complexity and variability of tissue in the image's intensity levels are represented by high entropy value that mentions to a richer amount of information and detail. Conversely, lower entropy values mention to the homogeneity in the processed image regions. Entropy offers capability to recognize the data content, makes entropy method is superior in the image segmentation tasks among other methods, accurate object delineation compared with many existing segmentation techniques.
