Abstract:
Road traffic accidents remain one of the leading causes of mortality and serious injuries worldwide, particularly in developing countries where emergency response systems are often inefficient and delayed. This project presents the design and development of an IoT-based real-time road accident detection and automated response system aimed at improving emergency response time and reducing fatalities. The proposed system integrates embedded sensors, including accelerometers and vibration sensors, to detect sudden changes in motion that indicate a possible accident
