Abstract:
Cloud computing has emerged as an important technological infrastructure for supporting digital transformation in education. It enables students, teachers and educational institutions to access computing resources, learning applications, digital content and collaborative platforms through internet-enabled devices. The rapid transition toward online and blended learning has further increased the importance of cloud-based educational services. However, the educational value of cloud computing depends not only on technological availability but also on perceived usefulness, accessibility, digital competence, security, institutional support and internet connectivity. This research examines the role of cloud computing in improving teaching and learning practices, with particular emphasis on accessibility, collaboration, flexibility, academic resource sharing and institutional efficiency. A mixed-method research design is proposed, combining a structured questionnaire with a review of recent scholarly literature. A conceptual framework is developed linking cloud adoption with educational effectiveness through perceived usefulness, ease of use, digital readiness and institutional support. An illustrative dataset of 200 respondents is used in this article only to demonstrate the proposed statistical analysis and presentation format; it is not claimed as actual field data. The study indicates how cloud-based platforms can support anytime-anywhere learning while also highlighting challenges related to privacy, cyber security, infrastructure and digital inequality. The research concludes that cloud computing can become a strong enabler of modern education when technological adoption is accompanied by appropriate policies, teacher training, cyber security measures and equitable access.
