Abstract:
This study examined Integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Innovation and Entrepreneurship in technology education for enhanced graduates' skills training. A descriptive survey research design was used with the respondents comprising academic staff, technology educators and the final year students in Federal Colleges of Education (Technical), Polytechnics, and Universities in the south/south geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Stratified random sampling was used to select a sample size of 500 respondents. The data was gathered by a structured questionnaire which was validated by experts in technology education and measurement and evaluation and has a Cronbach Alpha of .86. Data were analyzed using the mean, standard deviation to answer research questions. It was found that use of AI, innovation in teaching methodology, and entrepreneurship education play an important role in making the curriculum modern, skill development, promoting self-reliance and making graduates employable. The study recommended that innovation, AI and entrepreneurship must be incorporated into the education of technology in order to see Nigeria's education system repositioned to meet the global industrial demand.
