Abstract:
This study discusses the role of parents in monitoring student academic performance in the new learning system. To achieve this aim, the researchers used a decriptive correlational design. The respondents of the study were students from a private secondary school in the Philippines. The data were processed, analyzed, and treated using the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences or SPSS. Based on the researcher's finding and conclusion reveals that the effect of parent implication in the new normal learning does not significantly affect academic performance. Conclusions were drawn and recommendations were offered.
