Abstract:
Data analysis is an important stage in the study of various processes, phenomena, objects. These data can have a different physical nature and different structure. Therefore, it is important to have a set of versatile tools for the appropriate analysis. We single out wavelet analysis among such tools. The paper shows various directions for using wavelet analysis, shows a formalized description of such directions. Specific examples are also given for each direction of wavelet analysis.
