Abstract:
In this article, we introduce a new circular distribution to be called as wrapped sujatha distribution and derive expressions for characteristic function, trigonometric moments, coefficients of skew ness, and kurtosis. Method of maximum likelihood estimation is used for the estimation of parameters, The proposed model is also applied to a real-life dataset, and its performance is compared with that of wrapped exponential distribution and Lindley distribution.
