Abstract:
The rapid growth of the Information Technology (IT) sector has brought significant changes to the global workforce, creating new opportunities while also introducing unique challenges in the area of labor protection. This study aims to explore the critical issues surrounding labor protection in the IT industry, focusing on occupational safety, mental health, work-life balance, and legal regulations. As the IT sector often involves long working hours, high levels of stress, and a constantly evolving work environment, ensuring adequate protection for employees is becoming increasingly important. Through a comprehensive review of current regulations, employee practices, and workplace safety protocols, this research identifies key areas where improvements are needed. The study also examines the role of remote work, the increasing use of artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity risks in shaping the future of labor protection in IT. Recommendations are provided for policymakers and organizations to enhance employee safety, mental well-being, and overall work conditions within the IT sector.
