Abstract:
The research on "Ethics of Public Service" aims to analyze the ethics that public service practitioners must respect and adhere to, and to analyze the negative effects of not adhering to them. Basic ethics tools, codes of conduct, regulations, laws, training, development, and evaluation are used to improve public service ethics. The impact of adhering to public service ethics on society is evaluated. Recent studies focus on the tools that can be used to promote public service ethics and improve public service performance, such as strategic planning, risk analysis, and training on values and ethics. Adhering to public service ethics is essential to maintain credibility, integrity, transparency, and accountability in government work and to build citizens' trust in the government and its institutions. Finally, key conclusions and practical recommendations are drawn to enhance public service ethics.
