Abstract:
Integrating nanotechnology within the formulation of bioactive peptides based on native plant stem cells holds significant potential for improving anti-aging cosmetics. This research involved the synthesis of silver nanoparticles which used the Morus alba (Vietnamese mulberry) leaves extract to reduce and stabilize silver nanoparticles in a reaction with silver nitrate solution... The properties of silver nanoparticles were analyzed by modern analytical methods including UV-Vis, HR-TEM, TGA/ DTA and FT-IR. The UV-Vis analysis results showed that the maximum absorption wavelength appeared at 430 nm, proving that silver ions were reduced to silver nanoparticles. Nanotechnology can greatly improve the bioavailability and effectiveness of these peptides in cosmetic products. This paper describes the synthesis of silver nanoparticles from mulberry leaf extract, their characterization, and their potential to further enhance the anti-aging properties of peptides.
